It Started With One Little Visitor
BabyBoo wasn't part of the original PlantationVille plan. In fact, it exists because of one very small visitor who never actually made it through the gate.
Back in 2023, a family arrived for Halloween. The older brother couldn't wait to come in and explore, but his younger sister took one look at what awaited beyond the entrance and decided, quite reasonably, absolutely not.
Mum was happy for big brother to go ahead, but the little one was simply too frightened to join him.
Watching all this was Mrs Lawrence, otherwise known around here as She Who Must Be Obeyed.
She noticed something we hadn't really thought about before. Halloween should be exciting, but being brave shouldn't be the price of joining in. Why shouldn't our littlest visitors, or children who simply aren't ready for the full PlantationVille experience, have something made especially for them?
And that was that. BabyBoo was born.
Listening, Learning And Growing
What started with one frightened little girl and one observation from Mrs Lawrence became a whole new part of PlantationVille. Every year since, we've listened to children and parents, learned what works, changed what doesn't and added a little more. BabyBoo has become one of the parts of Halloween we're most proud of, particularly when parents tell us how much they appreciate having somewhere younger or more nervous children can enjoy Halloween at their own pace.
There will always be plenty at PlantationVille for those determined to prove how brave they are. BabyBoo is for everyone who'd rather work up to it.
